Two victories standing facing each other and holding ornamented shield over altar; around, imitative legend and mintmark. Well struck and of particularly charming style. Good very fine.

This coin is a beautiful imitation of Constantine's 'VICTORIAE LAETAE PRINC PERP' Danubian type coinage, minted from 318 in Siscia. The dies used for this detailed piece were of exceptional quality, and several examples with double die matches are known.
